Frequently asked questions
Can I meet you before walking my dog?
Yes. A meet & greet will be arranged first at your home and for a small walk to discuss your requirements prior to walks taking place. These can be arranged at short notice for a time that is convenient for you.
How many dogs do you walk at one time?
1 dog only so that the dog has my undivided attention. If you have more than one dog I can walk multiple dogs that already live in the same household and walk together usually.
Can I specify a particular time for my dog to be walked?
Yes as long as I have availability.
My dog is nervous around other dogs, will you be able to walk him?
I am used to walking reactive dogs and pick quieter locations where they will be less likely to react. I have a hi-vis vest explaining that the dog I am walking is anxious and to give us space.
Do I need to be at home when you collect or drop off my dog?
No, the majority of our clients are happy for us to hold keys for them which enables us to collect and drop off your dog while you’re not at home. All keys are kept in a secure location and will never be marked with anything other than the name of your dog.
Do you walk the dogs off lead?
No, for safety reasons, but I have a 20m lead for dogs that need to burn off energy running.
What happens in an emergency?
In the unlikely event of an emergency we will contact you immediately to discuss the situation. If we are unable to contact you and urgent veterinary attention is required we will take your dog to your nominated veterinary practice or alternatively the nearest vet depending on the circumstances.
Can I just have occasional walks?
Absolutely. We are very happy to offer ad-hoc walks and we are very flexible when it comes to booking. A text, email or phone call the day before will ensure a walk is booked or cancelled.
How do I pay?
BACS transfer sent BEFORE to confirm the walk. Details will be sent after booking.
What if I cancel?
48 hours notice required for a full refund.
