Who I am:
I love dogs so much & I 100% understand your dog isn’t your “pet” they’re your family. I am extremely passionate about giving dogs the best life possible & treat all dogs as if they were my own.
Both my fur babies passed away last year & I was absolutely devastated. I focussed on walking friends & families pups to get my daily dose of dog! I enjoyed it so much I decided it was what I wanted to do full time & started studying for relevant qualifications & volunteering at Dogs Trust.
Having previously built & ran my own successful customer facing business involving children & managing a team of 15 staff, I hope that this will put you at ease that I am reliable, trustworthy & will look after your beloved baby as if it were my own.

My Story:
I grew up with dogs, cats, hamsters & fish. I adored animals & would always play vets with my sister. I was the vet receptionist as it suited my organised personality whilst still getting to cuddle the animals! When I was 10, my family adopted three very crazy and reactive rescue dogs, one included a huge Irish wolfhound. They needed a lot of attention so I was used to helping look after them.
When I bought my first house, I adopted my own fur baby at 8 weeks old. Kneesaa was a Malamute Husky mix who was strong, clever & the most stubborn lady you’ll ever meet! We did puppy training together, she won first place at Scrufts, I took her to reactive training classes after an off lead dog attacked her & we went on the most incredible adventures every day.
I met my other half and his dog out on a local adventure & both our furries became brother & sister. Maximus was a small King Charles Cavalier who by the end, was 15 years old, taking a lot of medication & had arthritis, so I helped look after him in a different way to Kneesaa which included walks with him in the pram as he still enjoyed the fresh air!
Working full time, I hated leaving the hounds alone or relying on family to help. I looked into doggy day care but I didn’t like the thought of her being kept in a van for hours driving around picking up other dogs. Another day care we tried, she came home with a brand new bite mark which they weren’t aware of! I fully understand the pet parent guilt and the stress of finding somewhere they’ll be safe, happy and burn off some energy, which is why I've created Cardiff Dog Adventures.
